VTR Menu Settings for the Varicam H

line.gif - 3.0 K

Please note that a removable, camera setup card (MultiMediaCard) containing V-M1 or F files can not be loaded into the new Model H Varicam, or vise versa. In other words, the files are NOT interchangeable. The file syntax is slightly different between the newest and the earlier models of the Varicam leading to this incompatibility.

As with the Varicam F, the settings below can be recorded to a removable MultiMediaCard (flash card) directly from the Varicam H. Then they can be viewed, via a card reader, on a standard computer (using Windows "Notepad" for example). The card format is shown below. It works both ways, so changes to these Scene File settings can be made via computer (taking care to use the proper syntax), and copied back to the MultiMediaCard with a card reader/writer, and from there read back into the Varicam again. Remembering once again, that F files are not interchangeable with H files, or vise versa.

Note that the Recorder Section has it own VTR INITIALIZE MENU, and VTR CARD READ/WRITE MENU. This is completely separate from the Camera Head Menus. It also has a DATE TIME MENU (for setting the current date and time) and a DIAGNOSTIC MENU for displaying information about the recorder section which is entirely independent of the removable, camera-setup card.
